Your Ring Name: Bobby D
* Your Billed From: Belleville Illinois born and raised, still heavily involved in the community
* Your Height & Weight (Official stats): 5' 10" 270 lbs.
* Your Finisher(s): I’m a wrestler so I can hit many different moves out of nowhere to put my opponents away. Most common would be bridging German suplexes and the scorpion decathlon though
* Your Signature Move(s): I use the big power slam and superior chain and mat wrestling skills
* Your Pro-Wrestling Debut Date: started training in 2006 and debuted a year later in 2007
* Training Ground/Academy: I started at south Broadway and had a plethora of trainers. From Jeremy Lightfoot to Jimmy D to people thst only trained me a night or two like Shawn Soto, mauler McDarby, shift, ceicel, big jim Harris, bibbs, the lost is kinda endless because im still learning today from those like Atilla Kahn, Sean Vinceant, and Steve Fender
* Your Wrestling Style: I pride myself on being able to do a little bit of all styles. If I need to fly off or over the ropes I can. If I need to get into a more brutal hard Style I can but I really prefer the technical style. I come from an amatuer background so the flow and body positioning and contorting their body really suits me. And it was Legend Larry Matysik that got that through my head. He asked me one day why don't you lean into what you know best and just bust some of the other stuff out on occasion. Best advice I've ever gotten.
* Describe Your Character/Persona in 3 Words: Intense, Technical, Resilient
* What Drives You in the Ring? What's Your Motivation? Always stay improving so I can go get those big wins and entertain the crowd. I believe everyday we get a little better or a little worse so every single day you need to be doing something to get that heart rate up even if it's just going outside and tossing the Frisbee around for a while.
* Who are your wrestling influences or heroes? Man this is a tough one. I'll start with what made me love wrestling and it was two fueds in WCW. That was Billy Kidman vs Juentued Guerror and Chris Jericho vs Dean Malenko. You can see why im so adamant about learning multiple style because these are so different too. You've got Billy vs Juevy where they were hitting shooting star presses and 450 splashes off the Ring apron to the floor! I couldn't understand how the human body could even do that as a kid. I was in shock and awe immediately. Then you've got Dean vs Chris. They were so technical, not what you think if when you think of cruiserweights. Dean could hit a counter or submission out of nowhere at all times. Chris was just so smart in the Ring and could turn it on when needed. Then as I grew up I started watching more wrestling and older wrestling. There are so many greats that I love watching now that I couldn't even start to list them.
* What's your proudest moment in pro-wrestling so far? Ive done some traveling and what not but my home base is without a doubt SICW (Southern Illinois Championship Wrestling). I am loyal to promoter Herb Simmons and now past away Larrty Matysik. While working here I've been honored to become a 3 time central states champ, only ever 2 time Bruiser Brody Battle Royal champ and now St Louis Classic heavyweight champ. To be able to grab the torch and run with it has been amazing.
What are your goals in pro-wrestling? I want to keep pushing SICW to greater heights which they are already at some huge ones. But also I want to travel more, I've wrestled in Missouri and illinois predominantly but been to Arkansas before and would like to go back and in July 2025 I head to Iowa to wrestle for the hall of fame up there. If you weren't a pro-wrestler, what would you be doing? My other identity of course. I'm a father of three and I love them kids to the ends of the world and back. I also am a board member for the Belleville Little Devils and athletic director and coach of the wrestling club and East high school. As said before I’m heavily involved in the community and wrestling in general. I love helping people and coaching.
* Favorite Quote or Motto to Live By: Champions find a way. This is said by coach Rashad Riley often. It means dont make excuses or look for easy outs. If you want to be a champion you're gonna have to work for it and make it happen!
* Any hobbies or interests outside of wrestling? Wrestling and family. Those are my world however I do enjoy hanging with friends and playing video games. I also enjoy watching older movies with my kids and TV shows. Everything from supernatural and sons of anarchy to anime like Yu Yu Hakashu and One Piece
